Word 2007 - Where is the printer?
OK, so I knew Office 2007 was supposed to be different.
It turns out that it was so different I was unable to use it!
First thing I tried was typing somthing in word. Ok so the keyboard works now lets get the printer drivers installed and just hit the print.... Where is the print icon? Nowhere to be seen.
After a few minutes I gave up. RTFM or ask someone! being graphicly challenged and the whole thing looking to me like some sort of graphic design competition I asked our graphics expert. He immediately found it. Hidden in the top left of the screen is a thing called the quick access toolbar. It is customisable and it is possible to have print as one of the options. Turned on I can now print on the defualt HP Black and white laser printer.
But what about the colour printer?
Well it seems that the large circular blob in the top left is a menu as well and has lost of useful things like save and print.
I am getting the feeling that I used to get many years ago, sitting in front of my machine, playing Zork.
West of House
You are standing in an open field west of a white house with a boarded front door.
There is a small mailbox here.
In Front of PC.
There is a strange ribon thing across the top of the screen.
There is a shiny logo in the top left corner.

Extra points for not only using Zork in context, but also for the only proper usage of the blink tag in history.
